The person will also be responsible for promoting standard IT processes and architectural best practices.  The position breaks down as follows:  50% hands-on system engineering, 35% development, 15% leadership:  working with support engineers and developers across teams.
 
Requirements:
3+ years experience on building reports, business models and repository development on the OBIEE / Seibel Analytics platform

We are seeking a Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer to assist with the development and implementation of a new project at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will support the operations of the Talent Acquisition recruiting function by sourcing and screening candidates for current and future needs within the organization. These needs include exempt level positions in areas encompassing technology, retail, merchandising, replenishment, finance and human resources for BJ’s Home Office and Field locations. This person will be responsible for strategically sourcing candidates using various methods including cold calling, database mining, web research, job board mining, etc. The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will source and screen candidates to ensure that job skills match the job requirements and will present viable candidates to the assigned recruiter. In addition to sourcing and screening responsibilities, up to 25% of this role may also include creating job postings, coordinating meetings and interviews, attending job fairs, greeting candidates and assisting with projects as needed. Applications Systems Engineer 2 Under minimal supervision from the Applications Manager, works with a team of Applications Systems Analysts and Applications Systems Engineers to perform a variety of IT tasks. The tasks include interacting with end-users, producing technical specifications, producing high quality code, conducting meetings, adhering to IT system change management processes, completing system tests, troubleshooting/supporting existing production systems, and participating in new installations. Takes initiative to handle tasks independently. May also provide oversight of team members; work on specific projects as determined by the Applications Manager. Experience writing PL1 in a mainframe environment required. CICS, TSO and knowledge of IMS databases also required. Crystal report writing experience a plus. Responsibilities: 1 Delivers high quality work within established timeframes. Must be able to manage/multi-task on several large assigned projects incorporating all aspects of IS. 2 Works with the user community to fully understand business requests. May develop functional business requirements as needed that adhere to standard IT Project Methodology. Advises on system features and/or facilitates communication either within IS or with vendors on options to address the business requests. 3 Produces technical specifications, data conversion, and/or mapping criteria as determined for assigned projects from which programs will be written. May include cross-team coordination and cooperation within the AD Dept. or across IS. Remains current on vendors' changing technologies. 4 Develops and supports high quality mainframe code within established coding standards. Conducts unit testing. May participate in the development and execution of user test plans. If needed, possesses the ability to coordinate and drive the execution of the test plan. Includes effective Issues List Management. 5 Provides user support during the implementation of new systems. Possesses advanced knowledge of system design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. 6 Supports assigned production environments: troubleshoots technical application issues, documents and manages incoming requests whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Understands the interdependencies, internal workings, integration points, and connectivity of assigned systems. Also, provides back-up support for other team members as needed. 7 Participates in on-call rotating coverage. 8 Provides training and mentoring to other team and/or department members. May also provide oversight of team members; work on specific projects as determined by the AD Manager. 9 Contributes to and /or produces and maintains project plans. Projects assignments are usually large and complex. 10 Facilitates activities to insure that project milestones and deadlines are met. Manages and tracks to milestone schedules and deliverables. Reports on status of projects. 11 Runs meetings. NWN Corporation, a Cisco Gold Partner and Value Added Reseller, is looking to add an experienced Sr. Cisco Engineer to the Waltham, MA team.

The chosen candidate will be proficient with Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Unified Communications. 
  
Qualifications
 
The individual must understand the Cisco Routing and Switching environment with proven ability to bring up LAN /WAN data infrastructure at new locations under tight deadlines.  Understanding and experience with Unified Communications is expected and deployment experience of both LAN /WAN  would be considered a plus.   
 
Candidate must be able to work under limited supervision, willing to work above the standard 40 hour work week when needed.  The individual must present a balance of technical knowledge and organizational skills; a professional presentation is expected as this is a customer facing position.
 
The selected candidate will have at least five (5) years strong Unified Communications experience and a solid Routing and switching background.
 
Candidate must be able to coordinate activities with other engineers and peers.
 
Candidate must possess  the ability to take a project from inception to acceptance and work closely with project management to ensure adherence to the project deliverables.
